Our Community Involvement
As a firm, we’re committed to our communities of Chorlton, Failsworth, Manchester and are greatly involved in local events as well as supportive of local organisations and charities.
We believe in being an active part of our community. For us, that means using the skills and enthusiasm of our people to help local groups achieve great things.
At HLF Berry LLP we are able to offer clients the combined experience of 100+ years of providing legal services across Greater Manchester. Our professional approach together with our commitment to customer care and client wellbeing ensures we always provide a friendly, expert service from our 3 offices across the Manchester area.
As part of our community commitment, we are members of Chorlton Traders Association, working together for the benefit of all in Chorlton, and for several years now HLF Berry Solicitors has sponsored Chorlton Arts Festival. The Festival celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2022 and saw almost 1,000 artists showcasing their talents across 60 local venues in and around Chorlton
We are also proud sponsors of local football clubs near to our offices in Chorlton and Failsworth including West Didsbury and Chorlton AFC.
As we care about the communities we work in and the people who live in them, we try to give back as much as we possibly can through taking part in fundraising and volunteering initiatives whenever we’re able to do so.
Paul Hannam, a Director at HLF Berry Solicitors, volunteers his time and expertise as the Chair of the Friends of Alexandra Park. This group of local residents was set up in 2001 to help raise the profile of the park and bring the community together and, in 2021 HLF Berry sponsored the construction of a new model of the glass cactus house in Alexandra Park that has been made by Phil Benson-Hannam.
As a firm, we are also keen to help support local charities and have helped to raise money for St Anne’s Hospice and Dr Kershaw’s through our Wills Week campaign – this annual campaign involves solicitors giving their time for free to help people to make their Wills and instead of charging their usual fee, clients are asked to make a donation to St Anne’s or Dr Kershaw’s.
Our specialist solicitors take part in Wills Week every year and we are looking forward to participating in this year’s campaign.
We have also assisted charities with legal matters and many of our staff are involved in charity work on a personal basis, and this is something the firm encourages.
